The “Sustainability” working group<\/a> of the Composites United Network is the exchange platform for all relevant sustainability topics in the field of fiber-reinforced composites. In an initial workshop in late fall ’23, we identified the needs of the players in the CU network with regard to LCA: Which topics are relevant? What potential benefits does the industry see in group work, where is it willing to cooperate and what is it willing to spend money on? Building on the results, a second workshop is now planned to give the industry partners an initial in-depth insight into the procurement, evaluation and use of LCA data.<\/p>\n

The event takes place directly on the day before the parallel CU Innovation Days “Ready to use – Wiedereinsatz von rCF und anderen Rezyklaten in Faserverbunden”<\/a> and “DAfStb Richtlinie “Betonbauteile mit nichtmetallischen Bewehrungen” – Erfahrungen aus der Baupraxis am Beispiel Carbonbeton”<\/a> at STFI Chemnitz and thus rounds off a comprehensive 2-day offer on the sustainable use of fiber composites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
