The CU working group \u201cSustainability\u201d<\/a> is one of the most active working groups of the Composites United network. In this workshop, we join forces with the DigiPass project consortium to give an overview of current developments and projects in the field of Digital Materials and Product Passport (DMPP) for Composite Materials.<\/p>\n

By many, the DMPP concept is seen as an essential tool to carry information along the value chain to enhance and simplify the circularity of products, e.g., a simpler reuse or recycling. In addition, a better availability of information can foster the overall innovation process.<\/p>\n

However, key challenges need to be solved: How can relevant IP be protected efficiently? How can the players along the value chains be convinced to participate?<\/p>\n
