This presentation introduces 3D-printed, water-soluble salt cores enabling intricate internal geometries in monolithic composite parts. The approach, developed from ETH spin-off sallea AG, allows the production of integrated structures without secondary bonding while remaining compatible with established processes such as autoclaving, RTM and vacuum bagging.
