At the same time, it promotes the networking of young scientists within the framework of the doctoral working group. The topics in the working group range from basic scientific understanding and technological aspects to application, design and application-related material and component characterisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further goals of the WG are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discussion and development of industrial and scientific issues in the field of ceramic fiber composites as well as other fracture-resistant ceramics and natural fiber-derived materials<\/li>\n<li>Development of a scientifically based understanding of the material and component properties of ceramic fiber composites, evaluation of the process-structure-property relationships, correlation of experimental characteristic values with modelling approaches, consideration of application-relevant issues<\/li>\n<li>Initiation of joint research and development projects between universities, research institutes and industry<\/li>\n<li>Exchange of experience, promotion of young researchers and
