At the general meeting of the CU BW on 29.04.2024, the board of the CU BW was newly elected for the next 2 years. Steffen Baitinger (SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG) was elected as the new Chairman of the Board at the first CU BW Board meeting on June 3, 2024 at the University of Stuttgart, Institute of Aircraft Design (IFB).<\/p>\n
He succeeds Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Middendorf, who will take up his new position as Rector of the University of Stuttgart on October 1, 2024, and will therefore resign from his position as Chairman of the CU BW, but will remain a member of the CU BW Board.<\/p>\n
We are delighted that we have been able to appoint Steffen Baitinger as a new member of the CU BW Board. Steffen Baitinger works in the field of technical marketing and application technology for wind energy at SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG and is therefore an expert in composites applications, materials and manufacturing processes in the wind power industry.<\/p>\n
