With a festive colloquium and an atmospheric evening event, the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden celebrated the highlight of its 100th anniversary on June 10, 2025. More than 400 guests from science, industry, politics and society from all over the world accepted the invitation and honored the extraordinary development of the Institute into an internationally renowned research institution in the field of textile and high-performance materials technology with their presence.<\/p>\n

The impressive history of the ITM was brought to life in the speeches – from its beginnings to its current role as an innovative partner in the national and international science and transfer network. At the same time, the focus was on current challenges and forward-looking research topics that the Institute will continue to play a key role in shaping in the coming decades.<\/p>\n

The subsequent evening event provided the ideal setting for personal encounters, professional exchanges and socializing. With musical accompaniment, culinary highlights and a stylish ambience, the celebrations continued late into the evening. The numerous photographs of the evening impressively document the atmosphere of a celebration that was dedicated to both the past and the future.<\/p>\n
