nsinger has been active in the field of engineering polymers since 1966. A few years ago, thermoplastic composite materials were added as a further business area. Ensinger offers sheets and components made of fibre-reinforced thermoplastics, especially for applications in the medical technology sector. The Ensinger Group has now made a further investment in the field of composite materials: A new plant for the production of thermoplastic prepregs was commissioned at the Cham site in Bavaria. Ensinger’s product range now includes continuous fibre-reinforced semi-pregs and prepregs, organic sheets as well as compression-moulded composite sheets made of a wide range of material combinations.
